Lisa Greenwell, Ph.D.

Lisa Greenwell, Ph.D. is a Senior Statistician at the UCLA Integrated Substance Abuse Programs. Currently, she works on the “Pacific Coast Research Center of the Criminal Justice – Drug Abuse Treatment Research System,” “California Outcomes Measurement System,” and “Evidence-Based Principles of Treatment.”  Her statistical expertise includes advanced regression analysis (e.g., mixed models), meta-analysis, generalized estimating equations, longitudinal analyses (e.g., survival analysis, growth modeling), and sample selection models (e.g., inverse Mills ratio, propensity scores).  Her research interests include the influence of sociodemographic disparities and social networks on drug users’ well-being, and the public health implications of incarceration.  She earned a Ph.D. in Sociology from Indiana University and was a Post-doctoral Fellow in Population Studies at RAND.
