Rachel Gonzales, Ph.D.

Rachel Gonzales, Ph.D. is an Assistant Research Psychologist at the UCLA Integrated Substance Abuse Programs. She received her MPH in 2001 and PhD in 2006 from the UCLA School of Public Health. She has extensive experience in research and evaluation with adolescent and adult substance-abusing populations. Currently, she oversees state-funded evaluation projects examining program performance and client outcomes in relation to a continuum of services model. Her research portfolio includes: methamphetamine treatment, prescription and over the counter drug use among youth, quality of life outcomes, and continuing care interventions. She has written several publications in peer reviewed journals and has given many poster and oral presentations at professional meetings.
