Training is best translated into application in real-world settings when providers receive on-going consultation to help them refine and address problems encountered in the implementation of new skills. To ensure implementation, we have created two systems of on-going consultation for training participants.
We have developed a dedicated “warm line” system which will allow participants to leave a detailed message, either on-line or via telephone, identifying the problem/issue for which they need consultation. Requests for consultation will be triaged to an appropriate expert. The provider will receive confirmation that the request was received within one working day and a consultation within three working days.
